Step 1 - search driving school on CBR Driving School Finder
A perfect tool to find driving schools near you. CBR is the Central Bureau for Driving Licenses and this organization keeps track of everything when it comes to Dutch driving skills. Theory and practical examinations are assessed by the CBR, but CBR also keeps track of which driving schools are active and what results they achieve.
Step 2 - View the conditions of the driving school
One of the major pitfalls of new students. They choose a driving school that is recommended or whose website promises golden mountains. But the fine print is not read.
Step 3 - Make a trial lesson
Take a trial lesson at the driving school that meets the previous steps. Of course you can first buy a whole driving lesson package of 40 lessons, but if you find out that you don't like the driving instructor, you probably won't get your money back.
So take a trial lesson. Make sure it clicks between you and the instructor, that you like the car and that you are comfortable in the lesson car.
